Now enter your information in Joomla importer and then hit on Test the database connection button.
After clicking if it starts working then a message of “Connected Successfully” will appear on the screen. Fill out the Behaviour section save settings and hit on the Start /Resume Importer button to continue.
4) Modify Internal Links
Once done, you will see a message of IMPORT COMPLETED appears and a 100 % progress bar. Make sure to import Joomla content ( all pages, posts, and media files) from there to a new WordPress site. After importing content, hit on the Modify Internal Links button. Now you can visit your new WordPress site to see imported content and to verify that internal links are pointed to the right URLs.
Once all migration is done, you can deactivate the FG Joomla plugin from your WordPress site.
5) Point the domain name to your new WordPress site:
The last but not least step is to point the domain name to your new WordPress site. Gratefully this step is easy but will take up to 24 hours due to DNS generation. You can also change the domain name from the General settings as well.
