3. Select the level of access you want to grant to?
Well now its time to decide what you want to grant access to the account, property or only view. Account can have various properties and a property can have various analytics views. So there are chances you have more than 1 property or website in single analytics account. So on…

3.1 Grant account level access
If you grant access by going to link Account Access Management in Account column. That means you are giving access to all properties and the views in those properties. Depending on the roles you will select below. So its better to give access to only a property you believe is needed to be accessed.
3.2 Grant Property level access
If you want to grant property level access then user would not able to access other properties in that account. But would have access depending on their roles and permission to all views in that property. You can have multiple properties like Google analytics 3 and Google analytics 4 or multiple websites in same account. Each website is as a property there.
3.3 Grant View level access
This can be the simplest access to your google analytics account to grant. This wouldn’t provide access to any property or account and any other view in same property. This is simple and only access to view like web data. That’s it.
4. Select roles and permissions to granted access
Now once you have selected the right permission column and is now in access management page. Here you can see are different roles. Enter the email address to whom you want to grant access. Then select the role which you think suits best your needs. And you are done to grant your analytics account access.

- Administrator
They can add/delete users and change user’s permission. Anyone with this level of access can remove anyone else, including you. - Editor
Allows the user to create and edit filters and goals and change settings. Users with this permission at the account level can also create new properties and views. - Analyst
