4. Finally, save your image and upload it on your website.
5. Then, compare the quality of the original image with the new image that is better than the old one.
6. Do not delete the old image from Media Library.

3. How To Re-Upload Image In WordPress

We will upload the updated image in the Media Library.

Note: you should first investigate where your image is attached. If its in post or is featured image or from customization settings or in widgets. First find out where image is coming from and change it on same place.

Please do not delete your images if you don’t know what you are doing from media or anywhere.

First go to the Media >> click on the Add New button that is beside Media Library & then upload the new image ( that we compressed previously) on the website.

Click on the Upload File button >> select the new image from the file and then click on the Insert button (that is at the end of the page).

Last but not the least, refresh your webpage and then you will notice that the old image will be replaced by the new image.
