This post is the review of a Graphic Designer, Dana Neal located in Flower Mound, Texas.
When one is looking for a freelance designer one hesitates to try out new people. Because trying to find new graphic designers is a hard task in today’s world. The web is filled with people who claim to be designers and don’t turn in the result which is expected of them. The field of graphic designers is so vast nowadays. It has become so difficult to decide which designer will give you the best results according to your demands and who will be able to meet the deadline. And more importantly not exploit your trust.
dana neal designs:
Many people hesitate when taking up new freelancers to do the required task. Because there is always the danger of them being inexperienced and not submitting the right results. Recently I came across a freelance designer based in Flower Mound, Texas who runs her website “dana neal designs”. Dana Neal has had plenty of experience in the field of freelancing. As a Graphic and Web designer, she has quite a portfolio to show her credibility. She is not to be considered as one of the self-trained designers. Who have limited experience and no proper guidance in the field. But rather has all the proper degrees earned in the field and that marks her as a professional in graphic and web designing.
Dana has over 15 years of experience being a Graphic designer and currently holds a degree from the University of Oklahoma with B.A. Journalism/Advertising and has attended the Univ. of Missouri, St. Louis taking upper-level graphic design, photography, and art courses. She has also worked with an advertising agency, marketing company and has worked as a graphic designer for a golf products manufacturing company for 5 years. Aside from all this, she has worked as a freelancer which led to her creating her own website.
Things to expect while visiting her website:
Dana Neal’s website is not complex to operate. On clicking options button on the right side you’ll find five options. These options have you covered for all your queries. They also make sure to provide you every possible detail through their customer care service which is always available.

Page’s presentation:
When one visits her website, the first thing that catches a viewer’s attention is the simplicity of the web page itself. Dana does not go for the extravagant, bold colored backgrounds and stylish font to sell her work. But rather keeps it simple and professional. Next comes the most important detail which is her work portfolio itself. Dana has experimented with a variety of fields. She has made logos, Designed pamphlets, and catalogs experimented with UI AND UX and worked in creating print and formats as well.
What is in this Graphic Designer’s portfolio?
Her portfolio consists of six segments:
Logos:
Upon visiting Dana’s website and going through her portfolio I came upon several logos designed by her for companies such as Clean Coffee co, Blush n brush, and Ovogen fertility. One of Dana’s brilliant techniques is to make the logo reflect the idea of the company itself. For example for a company named “The dinner project,” she made the logo be presented as a placemat upon which four small plates are drawn which symbolize the four people who founded the company and above those plates is the name of the company itself. Therefore, making it look like a dinner table itself. Another one of here logos that I found visually very interesting was the one for a boutique agency called Boombox. For this dana’s approach was simple, she showcased a box placed in an artistic way and upon it were written the words Boombox in bold letters. Also, I might add that upon looking at first the box does turn out to be shown as a stretched hexagon and upon close viewing, the shape of the box is identified, hence creating an optical illusion.
Print:
Coming upon the prints section of the portfolio we see that among other things she has designed brochures and product catalogs as well. Dana has created a product catalog for “Team Golf Company”. In which she has done the cataloging of the company’s products. Which, not in any way considered as boring but rather visually pleasing. For example not forcing all the products to be presented on a few pages. But by giving each set of products a category, accompanied by large pictures of the products as well.
Large format:
One creation of her in large format includes the trade show booth that she designed for the company “Site location partnership”. And in doing so she has kept her specialty of simplicity and elegance along.
Product and packaging design:
Furthermore, she has even designed various product packaging for various tool marker sets used in golf. For another company, AEMAC (Advanced electrical and motor controls) Dana made 5 product sales sheets which presented a single electrical item on each. In these, she has made use of the colors of the American flag. And she keeps it simple and elegant so that the key elements are highlighted.
Aside from all this freelance work Dana is also an active blogger on her website and is frequently writing and informing people about her latest findings and what her current favorite methods are in her field. All in All, Dana Neal is an accomplished, skilled and professional web and Graphic Designer who has a lot of experience in her field and capable of handling any sort of challenge that is handed to her.
