RTL Theme

Hi Ateeq , 

  I installed vet care English version and I installed WPML plugin on my WordPress and wanted to add the Arabic language.

The problem is when I click Arabic flag to go to Arabic version, some data still are LTR e.g Footer etc and if I enable RTL support from appearance > customize > General > Enable RTL. 

English Footer becomes RTL and also some issue on front page content. 

As per your email, you are going to release WPML update for this theme. So I am waiting for it

Hi Please note you are getting things un clearly the reason i asked you to open ticket cause i got confused. I did not find /language/ folder in the theme which is working on your webstie. Please make sure your theme have /languages/ directory if it does not have let me know. 

Also you can install arabic version in a separate directory let's say /arabic/ and then copy content from there and paste in pages which WPML plugin creates for arabic language. If you go to pages >> you will fild a + sign in front of each page , same for posts, services, doctors etc. This is where you can add the arabic page. As till now home page was giving 404 ERror for arabic language. 

But i clicked that + icon and added 1 line in home page for arabic language. So things are working fine except the translation of theme's strings which you should verify /languages/ folder exist in your installed theme.

I have fixed the issue you were facing. Now this theme is completely compatible to WPML your Veterinary Care WordPress theme is updated and compatible to WPML and works very well to the RTL languages. 

Please note: This is what i did now theme do not need activation of RTL from the customizer options. WordPress's default function is_rtl() is used to verify and scripts and styles for RTL is included in the way like below.

  wp_enqueue_style(  'style-rtl',  plugins_url('/css/style-rtl.css', __FILE__) );
  wp_enqueue_script( 'script-rtl', plugins_url('/js/script-rtl.js',  __FILE__) );
}

Veterinary Care WordPress theme is now compatible also i have translated few more strings into arabic language.
