Not able to Update Email Id after demo data

After adding demo data to my website, I changed the password. But email id is not getting changed as a confirmation email is not being received in the inbox of new email id. Can you please tell what could be the reason.

Did you check the Spam folder if you received Email in Spam folder? Please send your WordPress logins so i can check also please note you have to check your spam folder. I can only test if emails are going to your inbox or not but you should check spam folder. 

It was a problem from the server end of not receiving emails from wordpress. The hosting provider fixed it. Sometimes it is a setting in the theme, therefore I had asked. Thank you for the support.
