PHP project Management system is a powerful project management tool which helps you to manage projects from your own domain or localhost, This system have ability so you can add multiple companies and every company have its own members and projects to handle.
Installation
Installing php project management system is very easy once you have bought system and downloaded script from Codecanyon upload all files let’s say in http://pm.yoursite.com/ Create new database and change all values inside includes/dbconnect.php file for your database. That’s it system will now install it itself once you run for first time.
Adding More users
If you want to add more admin members in system there are two options 1 users can register themself and you can change their access level going to users section second you can add new users from your admin interface. All users would be able to assigned projects, company access messages and login system depends on access you give to them.
Create new company
After you finish installation and necessary users now you can go to company section and add a new company with details on it.
Company Access
If you want that a user can manage all projects of a company but you dont want him to see other companies and projects of other companies, You can go to company access section and grant permission to a user to a company so he can manage all projects of that company. If you make a user admin he will able to see all companies all users and all projects of every company.
Projects
Click on projects system will ask you to select a company first click projects from company row you want to see projects for which company. In projects window you will able to see all projects and admin user and company access holder can add new projects as well.
Add new project
Click on add new project so you can add new project in that page you will able to add project details and 5 options to add new project members you can write emails of project members there you want to make project members and assign them tasks in future. If those emails are not already users of system then system will create their account will email them username and password and assign them as project member as well.
After adding new project you can go back to projects select your project that will take you to project page. First line is project title, second one is project description Third row tells project status, start date, project type, option for admin and company access holders to add more people in project or remove members from project.
Add more members behave same it gives you ability to delete existing members and add new members writing their email if they are not already in system , system will create their user account email them info and make them project member.
This row also have add/edit project plan section and view project plan section where you can describe a little about project plan how you want to take it further.
Project Updates
This section describes everything whatever is happening in project and by which user, like adding new member, deleting member, creating project, adding to do list, completing to do list, adding task , discussions on files and tasks everything.
Project Todo lists
Todo lists are project lists which holds tasks for them you can say them as categories like website design is a todo list which can hold multiple tasks like design header, design footer, approval etc. You can add multiple todo lists and then going to todo list page you can add tasks to that todo list.
Going to todolist page you can add new tasks there and check existing complete or active tasks, this page have todo list description and other things about list, Here you can select a specific task or add new task go to task so you can discuss task and make it complete when done.
Tasks
Going to todo list and selecting specific task you can reach to task page which have all information about task, its deadline, its starting time, discussion no the task and everything else , Here you can post your comment also and when you post comment you can include project members to email them as well. Once you complete the task you can click on status and it will change to complete or active. Regarding project tasks completion project progress bar start moves on.
Project Files
In this section you can add new project files, and their title, description once you have uploaded project file it creates its own page where user can download that file, discuss that file post comments on that file and include other members to receive email on that file.
Project Notes
New Project Notes section in project management system have ability to save project notes for every project you can save unlimited project notes there, every project note have its date, and by whom it was added also its email able when adding project note you can include members to send email, and a project log also added.
Other Features of system
System give you notes section, private messaging section and my login section. in notes you can save your and every user can save their personal notes about projects or anything, in my login section users can save their important login informations about projects or other websites they want to save, and private messages users can send messages to each other from message center.
