I did the translation process, I changed the informed file, but it still doesn't change the system to the default Brazilian language, which is Portuguese.

Doe other languages work on your server if yes then there seems something wrong with translation, if no language works then seems your server's Language pack is missing please ask your hosting provider to install php gettext
