Administrator Account

Upon installation of the script, the application is creating the necessary tables however, the admin account is not being created. 

New registrations cannot login too because the validation link is not being received on email. I'm thus unable to login into the application.

I've downloaded the updated version but i'm encountering the following error upon running the install script: 'Unable to connect to database [Access denied for user 'root'@'localhost' (using password: NO)]'

How can I resolve the problem?

This problem is about your database connection

please check lib >> includes > db-connect.php

and make sure the Database name is correct, and Username is also correct and password

If you are on XAMP localhost, then you can leave password field blank for Root user. 

Also make sure your localhost port is accurate.
