Editing /locale/login_script.pot

This is not something I have had to do before. Please can you confirm what is the best

way to edit the login_scipt.pot file.  Can a standard text editor be used / Dreamwearer ?

login_script.pot file is to create more languages which are not yet available in system. 

While PHP login script already available in various languages so in case you want to activate any language you have to go General settings and activate your required languages. 

To edit those languages you need to use poEdit software, just edit that certain language .po file and make changes save and upload it should work fine. 

Which language are you trying to use? Also for English language you don't need to use these locales/ you can just edit your required file and change string to your own string for english language.

Which / whereabouts  is the 'required file' that I need to edit ?

To update the english language you do not need to use a spearate english translation file just edit the file in which you see the string and make change in that file. In case you cannot find the string in a file you can send me String with the URL and i would explain you how and where you can make this change.
