No Sender

Hi Ateeq

In additon to my previous tickets I've notice that registration email confirmations show the email sender as being

'No Sender'

 

Please can you let me know how change this so that user see the email coming from a valid sender (me )

Please go to General Settings. Click on top right menu with your pfile picture and click on General settings page. 

In General Settings page go to >> Email Settings and make sure you set there correct Emails and should be related to your domain. like [email protected] and your site title should also be not empty.

1 - My wife, a new user ( using an iCloud email address and an iOS device) receives the email to confirm their registration -  but gets the following message
 
This message cannot be displayed because of the way it is formatted. Ask the sender to send it again using a different format or email program.
multipart / mixed
 
It works fine on non iCloud email accounts
 
2 - I have issues with other Php pages in the Maintenance_Portal directory but I expected that to happen because of the PHP 7 upgrade. I’ll email you those
problems on a separate email this evening for you to give me a cost to sort the problems out.
 
3 - I noticed that you did not upload /lib/includes/English.php when you set this up for me. Is it ok for me to upload the file included in my initial download as this was really handy for editing the look of things ?
 
Will revert back to your ticket system after this email
 
Love the look of the Dashboard by the way - you have clearly put a lot of good work into this. Will leave you a review this evening

1) System sends an HTML link in email which needs to be clicked for verification seems like your iphone is hiding this link please check this post this may 

 

iPhone Tip – Message cannot be displayed because of the way it is formatted

Here is an iPhone Email Tip that will hopefully save you some frustration:

When reading your email with your iPhone, have you ever got the following message?

"This message cannot be displayed because of the way it is formatted. Ask the sender to send it again using a different format or email program. Multipart/Alternative"

If this happens to you, you can work around the problem by first deleting your message. Then go find the message in your trash and move the message back to your in-box. You should now be able to read the message properly.

 

Apparently this was an issue with iOS 3. It was fixed in iOS 4. Unfortunately the bug seems to be back again in iOS 5.

 

2) Custom requests can be send in Email but the support requests needs to go through ticket system.

 

3) Now translation is a completely different way, and includes locales/ directory in which you can find various translations. As english is default language of script so to edit english strings you need to edit the prespective file and edit the string in file directory.
