Currently, if there is no record of a model under the selected brand in the dashboard, customers are met with the message: "We haven't found any device with your given brand! Please contact us."
This creates an issue for customers whose TVs are wall-mounted. In such cases, the model and serial number, typically located on the back of the TV, are not accessible to the customer. They may only know the device type and brand.
We believe customers should still be able to book a repair even if no previous models are recorded under the selected brand in RepairBuddy. Allowing bookings based solely on the device type and brand would ensure a smoother and more accommodating experience for all customers.
