Problem with sending SMS

Hi,

we created the account on Releans (releans.com), the platform suggested by you for sending SMS via the plugin. We have correctly configured Sender ID and API Key.

The problem is that SMS are not sent to customers, because the customers' mobile phone number does not include the area code for Italy. The Italian dialing code is +39. It is not present in the telephone numbers we have in the database.

How can we solve it?

Can we make it so that when the plugin communicates with the Releans platform it automatically adds +39 to the phone number?

Or do you have a solution to suggest to be able to automatically add +39 to already registered customers and future customers?

The best practice would be that you include +39 with your customer's phone whenever you are adding a phone number so it can be accepted in all type of networks, 

But if you already have created so many users, Then you would need to add +39 to phone numbers... 

I can provide you a small code which can help you add +39 in start of each number if not exists. Let me know if you want to go this way thanks

One more thing, If you are using WooCommerce, then you can go to Customers User role, and edit users one by one, then you will see the phone field to edit there. 

Hi, thanks for the reply. If I manually add a +39 to existing customers, is there a way to ensure that the next ones who sign up automatically include the +39 at the beginning?
