default date

is it possible to make a default date when adding new jobs?(but still remains editable)

I noticed when making add new post, this case mixes to other reports

Pickup date is already added of current date which date are you talking about

No your guess is not right, i just checked the code this From and To date in reports actually works with when the post is published, or when it was last modified, so if you have recently modified a post, or it was published before then it will show up that job. let me know what type of issue you are facing cause reports are not based on delivery or pickup date, they are based on WordPress post creation date which is automatically by WordPress and its modified only when you modify or change something in that job.
