What language are you trying to translate script into?
1) If you are doing it for existing language for new strings.
- Script have two functions which can accept translateable strings.
_() and _e()
Example _e() would automatically echo the string like
_e("Total Users");
But _() would just return string you have to echo it yourself.
echo _("Total Users");
Once you have added all your strings, then you can open file. login_script.pot in PoEdit software.
Click >> Translation >> Update from source code.
Then it would get new strings in .pot file.
Then go to required translation folder, and open .po file then click >> Translation >> Update from Source code. Translate your strings and save to update .mo file.
That's it.
2) To create new language
1. Click on create new translation after opening .pot file.
2. Select language for which you want to translate.
3. Click Save.
4. Create a new folder with same name language name in locale/ like de_DE for German.
5. Inside that folder create LC_MESSAGES folder.
6. Save your file with name. login_script.po
7. Go to folder locale/de_DE/LC_MESSAGES and open login_script.po
8. Translate and save to get .mo file.
9. Now open >> lib >> includes >> localize.php and add new language.
This all have to do manually and we do not support new languages. Thanks.
