If you just have created a new application on facebook for your fan page’s welcome tab and you do not see option View app profile page That is a bug in facebook after their new updates might they will fix it soon but right now the quick way to use this.
go to this url http://www.facebook.com/add.php?api_key=[APP-ID]&pages=1 and replace [APP-ID] with your application id after that select the fan page from list you want to add this application and that’s it.
